Hi I've been playing strings for a while, but I was curious to know what kind of rosin other people use. I've been using Pirastro rosin for a long time but I want to know what other people use because there are some factors about the rosin that i dont like. Please give me your opinions about the rosin brands that you use. I would be greatly appreciated

The rosin that you use is used by MANY other violinists in the world..trust me...everywhere I go, I seem to notice that it is used greatly by teens and beginners...
It's a very good type of rosin except it's used mainly to lubricate the front cordial part of the bow, where the front of the horse hair might be...
Even if you go to SHAR, you'll see that their are TONS of rosin that are great to use..
if you've been playing for a while, i suggest for you to get new rosin.

i like heidersein, i think thats how you spell it. you can get cheap rosin and expensive rosin and it can effect your sound. but if the one you are using is fine and you think it sounds ok then there is no need to buy anything else.
