can anyone help me out? i am trying to find the sheet music for the violin part of the smashing pumpkins song disarm, which i can't seem to find anywhere. surely there must be an orchestral manuscript somewhere with this part on it! for now i am just kinda going by ear, but i would really like the actual sheet music
cheers

Maybe you can look up the song on google and they'll probably have some links to sheet music but more than likely you'll have to buy it.

Hi ellonye – (are you still around?) – I'm pretty sure the violin (and other string part/s) wouldn't be available, at least not from the publisher.
Just listening to the clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQtLoJlQD6E I'd bet that the string players wouldn't have had any dots to go by when they arrived at the session – they'd have gradually worked the lines out on the spot. It wouldn't be unusual for bits of previous, "unused" takes to find themselves in the final mix (which makes transcribing parts a trickier process).
The good news: you're in E minor and most of the lines are slow-moving and scalic. Will sound heaps better if you have a cello playing along with you.
