Buying violins online is a 50/50 shot. It looks decent, but you could probably get one of the same quality from ebay for less. I've given lessons to students on ebay violins; two were decent beginning instruments, one was okay. You might need to take it to an area luthier to set it up; he or she could tell you more. Smooth sailing!
