Are there any wise owls out there that could reccommend any good violin music to play in a restaurant.
So far my suitable repertoire consists of summertime and a tango, I have a 20-30 minute time gap to play in so any suggestions will receive a thumbs up
Thanks in advance guys !

Puccini Arias.
Most music stores will have a book with a collection of these. The tunes are familiar and nice to eat dinner to.
Any opera arias. They are usaully never too fast and you can have lots of elasticity in yoru interpretation of them. Also don't be afraid to go to your old etude books and find some etudes that sound nice. My friend did a wedding reception once and only played out of his etude books for his lessons.

Also – have a few "romantic ballads" that you can play from memory beside a table. Unaccompanied is fine; one chorus (or thereabouts) is all you need. You might try to pick one number per decade. Some examples:
Always – Irving Berlin
As Time Goes By – from Casablanca
I Can't Help Falling in Love With You – as sung by Elvis
When I'm 64 – Lennon/McCartney
Memories – Marvin Hamlisch
... etc, up to the modern day.
