Hi

I recently got a Sojing violin because its damn cheap and I also heard it can be a great ijnstrument with some modifications, I was wondering what can I do to improve it?

The easiest thing for you to do is put a good set of strings on it. try dominant strings.They cost about $40 per set in the US.
Try a better brand of rosin too ; . I use Pirastro Piranito ; cost is about $10 per block.

An improvement in sound quality can sometimes be achieved by adjusting the soundpost but this is a job for a luthier. So The best thing for you to do is take it to a violin shop and have them do all the ajustments.

There are some things that can never be improved. The wood it was made out of !!!
Cheep Violins are made of cheep wood!! You get what you pay for.

In addition, you can replace better bridge, too.
Please, consider upgrading a cheap violin against the option of buying a better violin.
