I've been playing violin for 8 months but since i was good enough to skip to grade 5, that i would try the viola. I love the deep sound but i still prefer the violin. Why is there such a large fight between violist and violinist? I love the 2 instruments and i think that violin and viola duets sound great. Is it an inferiority complex to the violin.

i've been playing approximately 4-5 years, it's a lot of fun, especially how the viola can match a human's voice...
more relaxing to listen to :]
