It's made by Lapierre, a very in-demand French maker. It's served me well, but it's just too light for my current instrument. It does, however, have an awful lot of art and spirit.

Just an FYI, this isn't a "cheap" bow, and there is a substantial (but reasonable, given the proven market value) reserve on it, but for anyone who has been searching for a top-quality lightweight bow chock full of craftsmanship, art, and spirit, and who is ready to invest in his/her playing future, check this out. If you're not satisfied with it, you can return it for a week.
