And another thing, my orchestra teacher is getting kinda !***!ed because my bow is almost always going the opposite direction of the other cellos, and I dunno how to keep in rhythim.. any tips?

I'm sure you are familiar with finger names, no? index finger is 1, middle finger is 2, ring finger 3, pinkie 4.

finger 1: B
finger 2: C
finger 3: C#
finger 4: D

1st D
finger 1: E
finger 2: F
finger 3: F#
finger 4: G

1st G
finger 1: A
finger 3: B
finger 4: C

1st C
finger 1: D
finger 3: E
finger 4: F


For rhythm I would suggest asking your teacher for help, or to purchase a metronome, which makes a ticking sound for each quarter note beat, for whatever tempo (or beats per minute) you specify. Music books, such as Essential Elements, are also great help, because they target rhythm patterns along with intonation, etc.
