Well - I had a go. Did it work? Judge for yourself. My band - Cogwheel Dogs - has just released our debut single, Cress, and it's available to download free at

Download includes Cress & two b-sides, plus artwork. And, yeh, did I mention it's free?

Cress is a song about the persistence of tiny things in the face of apparently overwhelming odds. B-sides are Anticoagulant ("laser cello") and Ghostwriter ("eerily schizophrenic").
