Hello ^^ I am a violist and I want to learn how to play cello. But I can't get a teacher because my parents will barely let me do Viola Lessons again. I play viola at school, though... I'm only 15 and I've been playing viola for about 7 years. So, how can I learn cello without a teacher? I was thinking of learning the bass clef notes and then applying the fingerings to my viola as if I were playing a cello :P Does anyone think that will work because I can't play it at home? I can play the cellos at school in my free time, though.
