Hi,
I am trying to learn how to play a 6 string guitar. I need to know what the X and O's mean on the chord chart! talk about lost!

Hey. Welcome to world of the guitar. Anyway the x's mean don't strum while the o's mean open string. Are you going for lessons or are you teaching yourself. I been teaching myself for about six months now. Hope this is helpful.

It is very helpfull. Thank you! I am tying to learn on my own. I ordered a Guitar form Esteban. Got a great deal! I wanted to learn how to play when i was in Junior High, but my mother that it was not a good idea. So here I am years later trying to learn.

did you get the Estban tape w/ your guitar??
I have that tape and if you are teaching yourself that tape will really help you. It teaches you how to tune, corect posture...stuff like that
i would really recmend getting that it teaches you like 5 songs
dare 2b extremly different
and rock your heart out until u die

yes, I do have the dvd's. They are alot of help. I think they are more for people that are fruther then I . But this site has helped me out too.
I alo get his news letter.
