What guitar, amp, and pedals you use. What additions are you pondering. Please stay within reality, no dreaming up the perfect set up.

I for one have no money to spend on nice set up's, so this is mine.

-Epiphone SG Standard
-B-52 Half Stack
-Dunlop Wah-Wah

The guitar is falling apart due to heavy abuse, and my Wah-Wah only works once in a while, but I absolutely LOVE my amp. It's my baby.

Guitar: Mexi-Strat
Amp: Vox AD30VT
Effects: Vox Crybaby

I'm currently scrounging the money for a PRS SE Custom, it's great value. I can't tell you how many times I've been kicked out of the store for playing it, perfect sustain.

<Added>

Dunlop Crybaby, I don't know how Vox got there.

Carvin CT6M
Carvin C850 Cobalt
Carvin B4 Bass
Ovation 12 String
Carvin SX300H Amp
Behringer V-Amp Pro
DigiDesign MBox
Pro Tools LE
Various Mics

Pedals I have a few but since I pretty much do 100% home recording, most effects are added after the fact. The V-Amp Pro is very cool and a great price. I am also considering picking up a POD. Those things sound remarkable.

Most common usage is '73 Tele through a Marshall AVT 150 amp. The amp is a little overpowered for most work, so I'm currently looking at 50w amps. For Accoustic, I have a Takamine EGSC through a Marshall AS50R amp, which sounds great. For Jazz, I use an Epiphone Emperor through the AVT (it sounds a bit wishy-washy through the AS50R). The AVT has 4 channels, so you can get a variety of clean/overdrive sounds, together with effects, but the clean channel with a just a touch of reverb is undoubtedly the most useful and appealing.

I don't go much on pedals - I use a Boss TU-2 tuner always and, occasionally a BOSS CS-2 compressor. I also have a Dunlop Cry Baby Wah, used as required and a Seymour Duncan booster, which is helpful for lead breaks on the clean channel of the AVT. The other pedal I use is an A/B switch for when I'm using two guitars through the same amp (the Tak sounds fine through the AVT clean channel).

Having said all that, I've recently acquired a Line 6 POD XT Live floorset and this can be routed straight into a desk, so the amps can be dispensed with altogether providing I can get decent monitoring. This is useful for gigs where we're running through a large desk, studio work and orchestra pit work. The quality is actually very good, I think.

Hope this helps

Berni
