Uhh,why is everyone saying that the tom delonge guitar is fender...its not, its a gibson semi hollowbody,its basically the same thing as a gibson es-333 but only has one knob. it has a overwound `Dirty Fingers` humbucking pickup. Its thick, distorted tone is the signature sound of So-Cal punk rock. get it right...GIBSON not fender

I have personally used one.
It only has one sound on it, a very bright sound.
So it all depends on how you look at it.
It is durable, has one solid sound

i have a tom delonge stratocaster and i think its great you dont have to worry about tone coz all its got is the volume button. you can play more than just punk as well it makes a good ska guitar as well as a heavy metal. it just depends on the setting you have.

This guitar is amazing.i dont no what the hell your saying about how you can only play punk, just turn the volume on the guitar down and change the amp settings.if this guitar is one of the 3 best i own and i own 14 guitars so i would suggest buying one if you can find one

im a big blink fan and i play guitar, ive been lookin for a long time to find out where to get a tom delonge strat, my parents r gettin me a guitar for christmas and this is the 1 i want, so help me find out where to get 1 b4 they buy me a girly 1, (im a girl) ive been searchin for a few months!!

First of all, the strat is discontinued, and the squir version isnt worth it because the fender version is a lot better and doesnt cost that much more. My friend owns it and says that you can break strings easily on it because of the way the bridge is constructed (also if you palm mute on it for a long time the sharp points on the bridge put inprints in your hand). Tom`s Gibson is incredible, while too much for most people (too bad). The only reason i would buy the strat is to turn it upside down and play it left handed jimi hendrix style (the volume knob doesnt get in the way) cuz im left handed!

I built my own, with a 1984 Kramer. Think about it. Same guitar? Whatever ... there`s no versatility in either one. A tone control can be added with a dual concentric pot. No new holes to drill. I like the Seymour Duncan Invader pickup. It`s a little harsh, but hot if you like hot. And the Fender quality and parts are reliable. Goodness, it`s even a Stratocaster, so it`s gonna work & play real well. Strat Man Dwight

I bought one of these a couple of years ago because I had a homosexual love for blink-182. As I grew up in my experience with guitar I realized more and more how awesome this guitar was. It has an amazingly pwerful humbucker built into it with great tone, clean or distorted. I added a tele pickup to it to make it more versatile. The guitar is great. I would definitely recommend it.
