Hello, if you are interested in watching me play the fiendishly difficult Turkish March arranged by Volodos and an extract of Chopin`s C minor Nocturne (Op.48), please visit my new site at http://www.icarus3.com (in the Videos/Music section). I hope to hear from you.
To begin with I had no idea that Volodos had made an arrangement on the Rondo alla Turca! A most pleasant surprise. It does seem quite tricky, but also even more galvanizing than the original by Mozart! & you have that smooth technique that I so long for & makes me somewhat envious. Because well you don`t seem to struggle with the keys, which would certainly be my case... some few glitches don`t spoil the whole.
As for the nocturne it was a beautiful rendition. I don`t think I need say much more... oh yes, perhaps I would have put more emphasis & emotion on the trills. But yeah that`s more subjective than otherwise...
P.s.: however, I cannot vouch for consummate skill on the nocturne till I`ve listened to it in its entirety! I withdraw my former comment till further notice. hahaha
