I've been playing for about 4 years now, and I can't play some of my songs. My fingers just can't keep up to speed.
I'm not sure what I should practice. Should I practice hanon, school of velocity or just scales/arpeggios?
Thanks!

sure,of course you should practise scals, arpeggios and all.
but it's not the point you play as more as you can.
the point is how you play it.
always try to maintaing good and healthy sound, especialy in scales.
practise legato playing as well, legato is very imortant part of piano techique.
There are so many things, look,if you need help, feel free to mail me.

Yes playing scales and arpeggios are always a good thing to do!!! Also, try getting some piano warm-up excerises - something like 'A Dozen A Day' is good for that sort of thing....there's lots of little tunes and rhythms in there to help with playing techniques and things.
And practise. The more you practise, the better you'll be able to play...I know it sounds obvious, but it really is the best way!!!
