Okay, I just started getting interested in piano. I`ve been playing for a while, but I am just now starting to actually like it. I was wondering if any one had the sheet music for the Piano sonata, by Beethoven Op.31 No.2, or if you have any pointers, that`d be great.

Sheet Music Archive has it. http://www.sheetmusicarchive.net/

Those things that look like staccato slurs: they`re half staccato, half legato, but not portato.
Practicing by turning your wrist rapidly (like turning a door knob) will help you play the first movement.
Make sure you don`t accent the last note of slurs.
Practice the left hand in the second to last measure of the second page by playing slowly staccato ff, then legato ff, then tempo legato ff, then finally tempo legato pp (the way it`s written).
Same with everything similar to that.
Second movement has tricky fingering, but it`s all written down so just practice.
Third movement, first page, sixth system, from forth measure for four measures: I recommend portato instead of staccato in the left hand.
Look before you leap.
And...that`s all. The rest is easy.

Thanks, it really helped. I have a question, after the first run, should I play the thirds like a trill, or is it completely different?

Sorry. I don`t know what you`re talking about. Please specify what measure.
