Could anyone explain how do you play The Entertainer by these ( http://www.8notes.com/scores/531.asp?ftype=gif ) notes when it doesn't go with the music. I downloaded the midi and slowed it down by 50% and in the intro there are 6 notes played, it goes like na na na na - na na, na na na na - na na... and so on. Where do I'm having a feeling that this sheet music is not correlated with the midi on the site. Any ideas?

I'm confused... Are you asking how fast it's supposed to be?? I recommend between 95 bpm to 100 bpm...

The problem is, when I slow down the original midi file that is on the site I clearly hear 6 notes played and not 7.. That's what confused me.. I guess I should just keep practicing until I "get it".

I also saw the real thing - original sheet music..

Man ,you have a problem (6or7 notes?) because you didn't see you have a "legatto" between eights no4 and no5.Or you just have a bad transcription...

mhm, two of the eigth notes are tied, and so they are teh equivalent of a quarter note.

What do you mean by "original sheet music"?? Like the actually papers Scott Joplin wrote on himself??
