My and my best friend are always arguing over which grading system is better, Trinity colledge or associated board? Wh t do you think and also tell me what grade you are. I'm only a Grade 1 theory and practical trinity person and need help on how to get better. Can you also tell me this?

Hi rdec!
I began with Associated Board until Grade 5 and then took my Grade 6 exam with Trinity. Personally, I found Trinity much better; the pieces were a lot nicer than some of the Associated Board ones I've seen, and the scales, arpeggios and such seemed more approachable, because you didn't have to learn as many. I don't know whether some people might think that this detracts from the board's standing, I'd learn most of them by then anyway so it worked well for me. Over all I found it a lot more friendly, and enjoyable to study for. Maybe some people disagree though!
Good luck with your future piano playing and exams!
Rosy
