Hello, I'm new to the forum, and would like to get acquainted. Just curious how/where everyone uses their piano capabilities. I mainly play in church/religious venues, but would be open to branching out into other types of opportunities to expand my horizons. Any ideas you might have are greatly appreciated.
Branson, Mo see's over 8 million visitors a year. All of the shows (140 of them) are all family and a hard to get into group. I managed to land a gig at a major shopping center there that has a $7.5 Million dollar water show. I have been playing there for over 4 years now. The fountain show already has a draw and now I have become part of the attraction. It is an outdoor gig so it is very weather dependent. I keep a positive attitude and have a smile and people put bread in my jar. I see around 2000 people a day so even though it might not be a typical gig, I have developed a name for myself. You can read my bio on my website www.bigclayton.com I play many styles their. Boogie Woogie, Blues, Gospel, Classical, Country. Songs like "Last Date, Chariots of Fire, Music Box Dance" just too name a few. Thanks everyone
