well,i started playing at 5 so i`m more used 2 reading notes.at 5, could hardly press the keys properly with my puny fingers.i`m 14 now btw.but now i prefer 2 play from memory as u can play more expressively.i dun learn note by note, but i just know where to press after playing the song over n over.

Thank you, a1a1b2b2 and Vanessa, for your kind contributions. Currently I am under a new teacher`s guide, and I hope to begin to solve the memory faults. I guess for now that to become a good sight-reader is part of the solution, and also I am studying harmony because a little of analysis of the pieces I read is useful. I was learning my pieces wrongly from the beginning, using fingers memory alone. The score must be refreshed often and never to allow to lose all contact with the sheet music. And more reliable kinds of memory must be used.

Well my teacher can not site-read (difficult things but easy or modaratly difficult he can) so i gess it`s is allowed......
