Ok, this sounds weird, but what would you say is the easiest of Chopin`s Nocturnes? I need pieces I can learn in a few hours for work.

Try:
Op.72, No.1 in E minor
Posthumous in C#-
Op.55, No.1 in F minor
Each of those only took me about 45 minutes shaky, 2 hours perfect.

Thanks! I`ve done Op.72, No 1, but I`ll give that other one a shot. Do you know of any other pieces that are relatively easy, but not maddening to me, a classical pianist!? much appreciated!

Maybe you want to try any of the 18 John Field`s Nocturnes (specially the first 9), he was the creator of the Nocturne, they are a bit more easiest than Chopin`s, but no less artistic and beautiful.

Nocturne op.9 no.2 is an easy one. It took me an hour to do it all. op.27 no.2 is difficult.

I wouldn`t say Op. 55 no. 1 is the easiest, although personally I think its one of his best. The second nocturne of op. 55 I would say is easier. THats just me...
