I know this is the piano fourm, but just wondring, does anybody play organ here, or is it just piano purists? I myself play both, but don`t really have an organ to practice on.

had training?

I actually do play in my church... but on bass guitar for the contemporary service. :S But as a matter of fact, I played piano today (Sunday) for a solo during communion. But I`ve unfortuanatly never played the organ in my church. I don`t even have any... organ... music. I just compose stuff for piano that`d sound great on a Hammond. I`ve never even had real training on piano or organ, but still compose and perform on the ivories. And... uh... only once have I ever played a real Hammond. A few days ago, a J-110 or 101 (don`t remember). I just have a great admiration and respect for those who fully play an organ. So much coordination with the hands and feet. !

About the Hammond deal--does anybody know of a Hammond spinnet without tubes that sounds like a B-3? I`ve heard that the M series sounds most like the B-3s, but they`re tube type, and I know of no place to get replacements.

Hi, is the organ keyboard identical to the piano keyboard?
