we have 4 basses, 3 or 4 snare (dependeds on what our derector wants), 2 tenors all the left over people that suck realy bad
( i wish the directors could kick people out if the sucked to bad, when i was a freshmen i beet out about 2 srs, 5 jrs, and 3 soph.) are throw'n in the pit.
we have 2 snares 4 basses 2 quads(tenors) and 5 pit. we are kinda small. but not to bad. i was not on pit this year because i was the one who grew to hate band right before tryouts so i never got on and when i finally loved band again i grew to hate my decision. our line got first when they played at disney world.
Deng, i thought our line was small. Compared to some of the stuff i've read, i guess we're not too small. we have 4 snares, 5 basses, 3 tenors, 2 cymbals, and 7 in pit. that's what we use, really, we have like 7 snares, 4 tenors and 5 basses, plus the 3 cymbals, and our tenors are quints, in case ur wondering.
i jsut moved to this school from a smaller school but this school only has three snares one tenor and four bass
whats sad is that i just started playing last year and i just learned to read and compose and yet i was made drum capitain.
we dont even have a pit
if we really need a part played we get someone from the band to play it
Hey, I'm just visiting from trombone land. Anyway, we have, um, 1 snare, 3 basses (weird, huh?) Yeah we're small but we rock.
In the pit we have a Xylaphone (spell that right?), 2 marimbas, chimes, cymbals, break drums, a bass guitar, though we wish he would march, and a whole bunch of little noise-making toys for our version of "Allentown" by Billy Joel.

by the way, we only have...um...4 pit members. Yeah, you guys thought you were small. Oh and our best drummer (snare) is graduating this year...but we still rock!
