At my high school we have 1 loud tenor, 5 snares, 5 basses, and uncontrollably huge amounts of pit percussionists. Last year we had I think 21 pit members. I was one of them.

hello, this is Daniel Robertson(percussion section leader @ Princeton high school, Texas). Or battery drumline this year consists of 17 members;
-5 basses
-5 snares
-3 tenors
-4 cym.

and PIT i always forget...lol

the only "drumline" my school uses exists of:

2 toms
1 floor tom
snare
hihat
bas
crash

those 1-2 days a year are also the only day i'm doing something usefull at school (together with other instruments we play for potential new students)
