Can anyone please tell me what a pulli stick is?

I understand it to be a length of bamboo with the end slotted, or cut. An example description would be a 14 inch long stick of bamboo with the last 8 inchs cut lengthwise multiple times (perhaps 6 to 8). You then hit or slpa the sticks on the edge of something such as the Bass drum rim.

We used them in Pirates of the Caribean. If you needed to you could probably use a stiff set of brush sticks for drum set.

I thought it was something like that.
I also needed it for Pirates of the Caribbean, I don't remember what we did then, but now we need it for "Dry your tears Africa" by John Williams.
