Dude. We have 2 soon to be 3. Hunka Funk, Funky Fragments and Zombie Junk is the pending / in transition one. Mkay... Hunka funk is this freakin sweet thingie that starts out with stick visuals and goes to an all out snare/bass/tenor jam with cymbal upbeats and its just... Sweet. anyone who knows the pitches of a tenor could figure it out... 1 = spock (highest little one) 5 = bass (lowest)
counts then drums
1 + 2e+a 3e a 4e+a 1 + 2e+a 3e a 4 +a 1 + 2e+a 3e a 4e+a 1 + 2 + 3 a 4 +a
4 5 2333 34 3 2333 4 5 2333 34 4 2 33 4 5 2333 34 3 2333 4 5 3 4 2 2 2 22

anyway. Funky Fragments is our off-field cadence. tap off on snare, 1 2 3+4+ then into a bass jam with rimshots (awesome) then everyone comes in on 2 of the measure of the repeat (2e+ 3 a 4 +a) basic beat of that one is about bpm= 106 or summat, rhythm is 1e+ 2e+a +a 4e+a 1e+ 2e+a +a 4+ 1+a 2e+a +a 4e+a 1+ 2e+ 3 a 4 +a That`s the snare rhythm... Let me see if I can translate the bass.
x= rimshot

1+ x 3 xa x 1+ x 3 xa x+a 1+ x 3 xa x 1+ (2e+ on top bass) 3 x 4 xa

*phew* kay. Then Zombie Junk is last year`s cadence. Its... just awesome. constant tenor groove, kinda odd snare groove-type thing and bass grid makes it freakin sweet. I need a recording. Well.... That`s all I got for now,

Me, personally, I play all manner of DCI, college, & middle school cadences just for the hell of it. Currently playing SCV Electric Wheelchair 2004. (w00t!) Later on

We have 2 snares, 1 tenor which is me, 2 cymbals, and 4 bass drummers. Our drumline has about 10+ cadences which are tight. I don`t really know how to play them all since I`m an 8th grader on an high school band!

the drumline at my school has 4 tenors, 6 snares, 8 basses (one being me), and 3 cymbals so we`re fairly big. every year the captian of the drumline (a student) makes up the cadence and the one this year isn`t that good so we sometimes use previous years cadences.

Our drumline played one called "Otis the Groovemeister" but the one snare couldn`t keep a beat (she was a sophomore) and she kept getting everyone out of step...GAH!
