hi! i m new in here and i begun learning the alto sax a few months ago. (it is not going very bad!) but it`s more difficult for me to do this well `coz i m 155cm! and i m not as strong as the other women!
you know,alto is held straight to your mouth but it is more easy to hold it like tenor for me.
is it wrong?

Ya u can. I know a lot of people who do. I personally find it gross when you stick a horn b/t ur legs anyway. all u have to do is turn the mouthpiece.
