Anyway, what do you guys think about Antigua Winds??
Here's my sob story: I've always stuck with Yamaha for my altos until I started playing the tenor. I'm renting and old Conn, and to be honest, I hate it; the keys are really noisy, the bar-things that connect stuff are wobbly, and I think it's ugly (I know, I sound stupid). My music teacher bought this tenor for our school and is willing to sell it, but each time my mom tries to talk to him about it, it's like he's never seen it. He doesn't remember what brand it is, but either way my mom is saying it's an Antigua Wind. We haven't seen it yet, so I have no idea if it's even comfortable...
Back to my question: what do you guys think about Antigua Winds??
Antiqua winds are a budget copy of Yanagisawa horns, I had an opportunity to play an Antiqua soprano, and for the price it is a good horn, however it will not be able to compare with Yanagisawa 900 series or Yamaha custom saxophones. That being said it is a good budget horn. Take a look on their website for more information.
I use Yanagisawa saxophones and if I ever buy a Bari it will be an Antiqua Winds (because of cost and the close resemblence to Yani's).
