.....or if it is free it is almost certainly illegal copies of material that is in copyright & thus depriving the composers & publishers of income.

Oh my god of course there is free sheet music on the web. You just have to look on the right spot. You guys are being idiots. It is not illegal or anything like that. People like you make me so mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well actually I beg to differ. There is a good deal of illegal sheet music our there. U have to be careful when your searching for the legitimate free music that it really IS ok and it's not still under copyright.
