Hello everyone, i`m new here, and i hope i`ll find friends here. You can call me Casper. For introduction i have recorded a song "Night and day". Hope you`ll enjoy.
OK, it's getting better. I installed the vorbis codec and now I can hear your song. I had just to learn something new.
I like it. You have a nice voice, I hear it well in-tune and with a good range. Perhaps you are going too low for your present range; I cannot hear the lower notes as they are obscured by the music.
But it could well be a problem with the recording itself (owhich is f a very good quality BTW) or with the PC loudspeakers, mine are not the best, really.
You sing as the best of my student colleagues at the school whera I study.
Questions:
- Are you studying singing?
- How did you do this high quality recording?
thanks! I studied pop-jazz singing in Tallinn Georg Ots` music college for 5 years and i`m singing in a rockabilly band Wild Ones for almost 4 years - www.wildrock.org .
The recording was made at home. I use audio-technica condensor microphone, four channel mixer, an external fire-wire audio card and Adobe Audition 2.0 which is a "must have" for recording vocal.
lol i was expecting a to sing... that was wierd lol. You've got a nice voice, i agree, it is low. Um i dont want to critique you because people are very sensitive about their voices. if you dont mind i will tho.
<Added>
i was expecting a lrig... spelled backwards... i have net filter
I study in a private school in Madrid, it's my third year. I do it just for pleasure and because it is something I always wanted but procrastinated too long. I´m now too old to do something serious with this, but that is something that has no cure. Anyway I enjoy it a lot and spend very good moments with my student colleagues.
I like lirics and I sing as Tenor. Not good enough to post a recording yet.
I see you have a good experience and sing in a group. That's nice and shows in the result.
I have just visited your web page and listened to the demos. The group sounds quite well, in its style. I enjoyed most the Stray cat strut. Nice guitars there.
The Mistery Train video does not download in my PC (i.e. it does nothing but opening a blank page)
I suppose you had a playback tape for your night and day song, did you?
Question:
I do not know the Adobe audition 2. Do you think it is also good for instrumental recording? (I play flute and plan to record a couple of pieces soon)
