hi
ok, i don't know how to explain this but i will try
i do choir at my school and when i sing i find that i can reach the high notes easily. but when i try to sing on my own at home i can't seem to as high as i can when i'm singing with people who can sing really good (the people who are in senior vocal group are in this choir as well as anyone who want to be in it - anyone can get in this one)
now i'm not sure if any of this made sense, if it didn't tell me
if it did, then if anyone this they know what i might be on about and ways to improve or whatever then that would great
thanks!!!

Singing in choir is a good practise, but it's different to singing solo, at home or anywhere else.
The choir tends to "smooth out" any problem you might have with higher (or lowest) notes and probably you do not notice them. The technique to sing in choirs is also different and solo singers may have difficulties in adapting to choir singing. They might be told by the director "to cover more" their sound and it is important that individual voices are not heard as separate voices in a choir.
