I am a Tenor 1 in my choir(guys are either bass or tenors,girls are sopranos or altos)

SO i am a Tenor 1 and i can get to very high soprano 1 notes,is this normal? my freind can get way way high....

Yes. Using falsetto or head voice many men can sing an octave higher than the tessitura(the average range music is written in) of their vocal part. Most operatic countertenors(men who sing alto)are natural baritones(between tenor and bass) who sing with head voice or falsetto. It is not unusual for a high tenor to be able to sing soprano.
