My instructor has told me that I should invest in a double horn. I found one for sale, it's a Jupiter JHR-852. Is that a good horn to buy? It's $700. I'd like any advice you have quickly because I'm probably going to go get it later today. Thanks!

By the way, I think the actual model number might be JHR-852L. I'm not sure if there's an L or not.

Its always a good idea to try a few horns before buying one so that you know you get one that suits you. Often second hand horns offer better value to the student than new ones - especially if its an unfashionable brand such as Hans Hoyer.
