I just took a look at the low horn solo from the first movement of Shostakovich Symphony No. 5. It's so low that I cannot find fingerings that go down that low. Does anyone have a fingering chart that goes down that far?

The fingering for the low Bb (I'm assuming you mean pedal Bb, the one below bass cleff) is 1 on the F side of the horn, the Bb side of the horn doesn't go down that far. The lowest possible note on a horn, mathmatically speaking, is the F# below pedal C and the fingerings down to that from pedal C are the same as the octave above.

That would be hmm... Bb, second lowest note on the piano, which is pedal Bb on BBb tuba! (it's a fun note to play on tuba, but on horn? With that tiny mouthpiece?? )
Lowest I can get is written G#2, the one at the bottom of the bass clef. Occasionally I can get F pretty strongly (open on Bb side,) but I suffer from severe air leakage. Any advice?
