Hi I've played the horn from fith grade threw graduating high school in 2003, but unfortunately that was the last time that I picked up my horn. recently I have become interested in playing again but I know my horn will need to be cleand/repaird first I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on where i should send it out to. Im located in Michigan but I guess the shop location doesn't really matter since I don't mind sending it threw the mail, O and its an 8D, and thank you for any and all replies

If it's just been sitting I woudl suggest your support your local repair technician. Most all local, educated, repair technicians should be able to bring your horn around to good playing conditiono again. If you n eed valve repalcements or valve rebuilding then you might consider sending it out. But if it's just been sitting have a local guy look it over, clean it, restring it, check alignments etc.

If you have broken braces let me know and you can still have your local guy do it probably.
