Hey guys, you know the saxophones from Yamaha (some other instruments too) that have the engraving on them (the patterns) can you get them put on tubas? like around the bell?
If you don't know, what is your opinoion on it?

Yah, you can get them on tubas, but they are usually quite expensive. They add no tonal qualities and really do nothing for me at least. York Master tubas have a lot of detailed work done around the bell.
I know 1800usaband.com does this. Dillions music probably does too.
Depending on how detailed the work is, I would guess it would cost some where from $200-in the Thousands. A $200 job would be pretty simple though.
