The melody(a Harpsichord I think) sounds classical, but the percussion in the background sound some-what modern. I may be wrong. I'm not a expert on percussion.

by "percussion" I mean the thing in the background that sounds like a symbol.

I agree. Defenitally not classical. Maybe its a classical re-make of some kind.
