I am looking for some medium-hard level smooth jazz piano music to play for enjoyment. I have had many "Gershwin" tunes recommended, but they are mainly accompaniments for vocals. I do sing but i would prefer something specifically for piano. Anything would be awesome !

Thank you sooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you after lead lines plus chords, or were you looking for pieces with all the "dots" already in place?

If it's the second of those two options ... have you come across the Gershwin Preludes yet? Here's No.2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpQVeeDtRfQ Gershwin also recorded some piano rolls. Someone has probably transcribed them – just a matter of finding them.

I just did a YouTube search for clips of Art Tatum and Fats Waller (stylistically too early?) and found Dick Hyman explaining some Tatum patterns. Fascinating! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEl87kax7_Y Anyhow, there are some transcriptions around of both these players' music (...and of Dick Hyman's as well). By now I'm drifting way off-topic ... but check this out! The best!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uzj6Q61h3oA More ... Tatum plays Gershwin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPNV8621bX4
