I'm looking for some kind of accompaniment(spelling?) that I can play along with for practicing solos. I play trumpet. Does anyone know of a website where I can find such a thing for free? I've found things with MIDIs, but it drives me bananas to play with that after a while, so if you know where I can find actual background music, that would be appreciated.

Only ask for music if you show me where I can find play-alongs.
I hate it when random ppl just post and ask for music!
In case anyone else needed anything like this, I found a good site with a lot of these tracks. http://www.playalongstudio.com/backingtracks.html
are some good-sounding free mp3's that work for my purpose.
You can play along with jazz standards such as Take 5, Summertime, Take the 'A' Train, Misty, Johnny One Note, and How High The Moon. As far as where to get the music to jam to, I think your best bet is playing alongside recordings. Hope this helps!
