I'm looking for some kind of accompaniment(spelling?) that I can play along with for practicing solos. I play trumpet. Does anyone know of a website where I can find such a thing for free? I've found things with MIDIs, but it drives me bananas to play with that after a while, so if you know where I can find actual background music, that would be appreciated.

Yes, I know I can't spell.

I can give you any of this music if you will help me out with this :).
Just put your email in the post, and I will send it to you.

Trumpet:
Crazy Train- Ozzy Ozbourne
Eiger - James Swearingen
Pirates Of The Caribbean 1 Medley - Klaus Badlet
Hey Jude - Beatles
Swan Lake - Peter I. T.
America The Beautiful – Samuel A. Ward
My County Tis Of Thee – Samuel F. Smith
O Canada - ?
The 12 Days Of Christmas - ?
O Tannebaum (Oh Christmas Tree) - ?
West Side Story Opener - Leonard Bernstein
Spirit Of The Guard - Jim Curnow

Only ask for music if you show me where I can find play-alongs.
I hate it when random ppl just post and ask for music!

Have you checked out the Jamey Aebersold series? (I don't think you'll be getting them for free, though.)

Get any of the Jazz Improvisation Series Approaching the Standards by Dr. Willie L. Hill Jr. (It's not free, but it's great.)

In case anyone else needed anything like this, I found a good site with a lot of these tracks.
http://www.playalongstudio.com/backingtracks.html
are some good-sounding free mp3's that work for my purpose.
