Helloo !
I`m searching the web for the MIDI file "Happy days" (album Infinity) and "Some day" (album Song of the new world) of McCoy Tyner. Anyone has it ? Thank you very much for positive answers !

I have the CD "Infinity". If you tell me how to make a copy of the song, and tell me how to attach it in an e-mail, I`ll be happy to e-mail it to you.

Yeah, I haven`t formulated my question rightly.
In fact, I would like the MIDI file to know the musical scores (or "partition", I don`t know the right word in english) of these songs. I think you can`t pass songs from ASF or CDA to MID. But if you have the CD, you maybe have the musical scores too

Anyway, thank you very much !

I`m sorry, I only have the audio CD, and there`s no way I can derive a musical score from that...

However, if you`re still interested... I`m right now working with my lesson teacher on transcribing "Changes" from that CD. I have to transcribe the entire piano solo (not the sax solo or actually anything I believe after the 3 minute mark). I know that isn`t nearly what you`re looking for. But when I`m finally done transcribing (I don`t know when that`ll be, but by the end of the summer), I can try sending it to you... if you`re interested, that is.

OK... it`ll be awhile still (I`m working on it with my teacher as a summer project), but when I`m done... I`ll try sending it (you might have to wait a month or so, though).

But in the meantime... do you like Bill Evans? Because I have some already written out transcriptions from this book I bought. They`re definitely a challenge! I mean, Bill Evans is... yeah...

If you`re interested, I have these songs, with the title of the song, and the CD it came from:

Waltz for Debby ("The Bill Evans Album")
Turn Out the Stars ("The Bill Evans Trio- Since We Met")
Turn Out the Stars ("Bill Evans at Town Hall")
Time Remembered ("The Bill Evans Trio- Since We Met")
One for Helen ("Bill Evans at the Montreux Jazz Festival")
One for Helen ("Bill Evans at Town Hall")
Only Child ("Simple Matter of Conviction")
Orbit ("Simple Matter of Conviction")
Who Can I Turn To ("Bill Evans at Town Hall")

Tell me which ones you want, if you are interested in Bill Evans (it will probably be hard to scan all these songs... so pick a couple.)

Let me know soon!

Bill Evans, huh ? From what I remember, he`s a bebop player, right ? I don`t know if I`m good enough to play like him ...But still, there`s one I would like to play (euhm, yes...try to play...) : it`s "One for Helen" at Montreux Jazz. The fact is, I live just near Montreux (yeah, and there`s Montreux Jazz Festival 2004 just NOW ). So it would be interestant to hear what this man played there a few years ago.

If you can scan and send me that, it would be great! If you want some music scores I have (Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, François Lindemann, Horace Silver, etc..), just feel free to ask (I don`t have a lot, but most of them are easy to play and just wonderful).

Okay, so good night and thank you !

Check your e-mail... the transcription should be there if everything worked out correctly (see the attachments).

Hope this helped.

I`m really sorry... and you may not have received that e-mail I told you about. I sent it with attachments to you, and I was just informed that it failed. Try to contact me if you get (or don`t get) anything.
