The Artie Shaw piece you referenced is available on most compilation cd`s by him. For other great clarinetists, try Benny Goodman, Woody Herman and Les Brown. There are plenty more, but they are a great start. Start with some of the earlier Goodman, the quartet. Then his earlier orchestra... these will give you a really nice arrangement of players that eventually went on to lead their own bands. Enjoy the journey, it`s a great one.
