most true thing said this week man. they're all the same! and whats with this screaming style of 'sining' that lots of american bands have adopted? i can't tell the difference between any of their vocals. And do any of these bands use any other guitar effects other than overdrive/distortion? They should get in touch with Tom Morello lol

I got 2 say that i agree.but R.E.M. and sum other bands like U2 and billy talent is still here. And our musik world has turned in to rap crap

Sublime?!!! What the crap?! Thats one of my favorite bands! They are NOT new and the lead singer has been dead for a LONG time. They dont make any new music.

i do have to agree that the industry has turned to 'rap crap' i can't stand that... i refuse to listen to it... but its not all the same... some of the emo bands do sound alike... butttt.... there are the exceptions so DON'T U EFFIN JUDGE MY MUSIC!!

ALL new music is !***!. RHCP dont actually count as new music because theyve been around since the 80s. Tool is not deep at all,
but it passes as deep these days because everyhting else is so !***** stupid. Plus if they spent as much time writing music as they spent making the packaging for 10000 Days they might get somewhere.

ummmmm, disagree. Tool's songs are all about REAL things. They arent about relationships or life's little problems. They are about things like evolution and war and more imporatant issues in the world. And, BTW, Rush isnt queer. Rush is kick-ass.

No Rush is the worst rock band of all time. Geddy Lee sounds like the offspring of Robert Plant and Donald Duck on helium and their lyrics are the nerdiest thing i have ever heard in my life. I don't care how good a drummer Neil Peart is, John Bonham would kick his ass And as for !***** Tool, plenty of bands sing about real things, that doesn't stop them being !***!. Green Day sing about real things for christ sake. Plus all their songs are written in like 7.5678/15.78## time or something which makes their music completely tuneless.
