personally, i'm not one to just go around dissing other peoples interests in music, but panic at the disco isn't music. they are a modern pop/rock band that sounds exactly like fall out boy. both are greatly overplayed, and they should not exist. go listen to some led zeppelin or something.

ya they arent good. Im really tired of punk rock because its annoying and all the punk rock bands are green day wannabes and green day isnt that good.

the thing wrong with your statement foxypianogirl is that panic! at the disco was around BEFORE fall out boy. so technically,
fall out boy sounds just like panic!.
just thought you should know.
and yes, they are both overplayed, but then again, who isnt overplayed? all the good songs get played a zillion times, then they get irritating because they are played so many times, then new good songs come out....
the cycle repeats over and over. so, what to do, what to do.....
stop liking the good new music? as if.....

ok punkygirl, not tryin to change your taste in music, but panic's lyrics don't really have much meaning to them. i'm not into the whole modern rock era. the radio blows cuz they overplay crappy songs, and they never play good songs anymore. i mean, occasionally you'll hear a good one like ac/dc or metallica, but the songs of today just aren't as great as older music. but that is just my take on panic at the disco and songs of that genre.

hey fozypianogirl just so you know....their lyrics do have meaning....they even have a freakin plot for god's sake! just read it...there is a story; a plot. And panic does not sound like FOB. You can't even rly tell what the singer in FOB is saying 1/2 the time, and besides that...if you actually listen; they do sound different. heck even if you do think they sound the same...TONS of bands sound like some other band.

I don't particularly like them, but you guys don't all have to bash them. It's just their style, even if some people think it sucks. They probably think other music that some of you guys listen is !*****!, but they just have their own style.
