I was on The Dresden Dolls' site the other day and they have this whole section devoted to "hate mail" they get. I don't understand. Why do people insist on really bashing bands, and to the point where they actually take the time and write to the band and tell them they suck? I don't really understand. Maybe it's just because I was so !***!ed because I love the DD a whole lot and was hating the haters. I hate a lot of singers/bands, but I would never tell the band that. And I try to refrain from telling people that who they like sucks, because I get enough of that from my family and friends about who I like. Sometimes I have loose lips and will spill about pop/rap/country...
i agree, im in a band and we have some movies on google of when we first started off. sure we weren't any led zeppelin but people kept sending us terrible stuff on the comments bit. i have a drum solo on it and people just say "that sucks" i wouldnt care if they gave me a reason like "you need to have more timing" or what ever. arrgghh dam people these days
Yeah, I mean if you are going to bash a band or send them hate mail at least explain why you are wasting your time telling bands that they suck rather than just listening to what you like. I mean everybody likes different stuff....even though rock is the only good thing. lol.
