well being a nirvana fan i would have to say nirvana is the best. but the beatles are rock n roll and they are definately 1 of the most influential bands in history
there's no denying the influence of the Beatles and their overall greatness but i'm more for the Rolling Stones and i can't believe they just missed out on the top three placings! but the Beatles are always going to come out top in those sorts of rankings!
i agree with most but i mean radiohead... why r they there??? also oasis and why in the !****! is U2 #9? I mean thats pretty high praise for a band who has been around for 30+ years and still doesnt have a song i can stand to listen to...
OK this list is completely messed up!!! Alot of these bands shouldnt be even up there. Nirvana is absolutely overrated. Radiohead, Metallica, Creedence Clearwater Revival , and Oasis aren't even that good. Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, and Deep Purple have to be at ranks 4, 5, and 6. I think RUSH should be ranked as one of, or the greatest band of all time, but they're just too underrated. But that might be because I'm just a really big fan of RUSH.

The Beatles deserve that spot, that is why they always win. Nirvana does not deserve the number one spot, they are good but I would put both CCR and Rush in front of them.
