Oh I also like some of the Thin Lizzy solos. "The Boys are Back in Town" and "Emerald" are AWESOME.

yeah i like the metallica one. it got place number 4 on some random people's choice tv show of top 40 songs from the 90s hehe a friend of mine also reccomended avenged sevenfold so i will look out for that one

The guitar solo that ends Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird is cool. Although it only works with the build up of the song, kinda like Stairway to Heaven but perhaps not as good. Still check it out if you haven't already.

lol i think everybody agrees that free bird kicks ass and is personally my favorite but you can basically pick any Jimi Hendrix song he ever wrote and you are sure to find an amazing solo... as far as guitar goes Jimi is a GOD!

Rude Mood - Stevie Ray Vaughan thats been one I'm still not able to master and it's really heartfelt.

My personal favorite at the moment is "Cause We've Ended as Lovers" by the amazingly talented Jeff Beck. In fact all of his music amazes me, but this song blows my mind.
