dude you must be like 10 years old or something because you have no reading comprehention skills i did not say that the reason you had bad taste in music was because you like bad bands, its because you can`t appretiate a good, possibly even the greatest, artist of the rock `n` roll era. Now I like all the bands you listed but you need to take a minure and think about what your saying before you speak because you sure as hell sounded like an idiot there.
I still want to know why Elvis is so good? Your taste in music depends on what music u listen to.
Plus, i can admit elvis was revolutionary, but i just dont like his music. Why dont u just let me have my own opinion about him? Get over it douche.

1.BLINK 182 (how can these guys not b in da top 5 ?! )
2.GREENDAY (1 OF DE BEST )
3.JIMMY EAT WORLD (a new taste of punk rock /alternate )
4.WEEZER (a new type of rock . who can u compare these 2 ?)
5.SUM 41 (gud , but not THAT good )
so all u dumb bums out there should pick up some STYLE !
Alex grow some pubes on those tiny little balls of yours and grow the f uck up. All of those bands are what little posers listen to.

found this forum on google and cant believe how comes none of u guys have even mentioned thin lizzy - easily one of the best rock bands in the world. most of u from america i spose. and y do good rock bands have to be at least 10 years old theyre are other good modern bands like

Dave Grohl, Nirvana and Foo Fighters are alright, and even more. But what the f*ck you do by flaying GN`R? Nirvana and Guns used to antagonize each other, but that`s not the reason for covering such outstanding band with sh*t. To make it clear, I`ll tell you one thing: in my country of sparrow-luck we got access to real music. And I don`t mean on Backstreet Boys. Most of my friends listen to Guns, as well as give much respect to Nirvana. You couldn`t say GN`R made bad stuff. The matter lies in contradiction between two great bands, contradiction because of struggle for young souls, main lines and something else. You can make it more obvious. Whereas I could be wrong. Think it over. Goodbye.

To the person that said "name somebody that can match John Bonham`s talents as a drummer". Ummm Neil Pert from Rush is an obvious choice. I`m 17 and i know that this Linkin park shi# is ruining the rock of old. I love most of the rock of the mid 60`s even up until the 90`s (for example Pearl Jam, Soundgarden).

I would put in Jimi Hendrix and cream to that list mate and that wud be a damn good list. Imagine what Hendrix could have done if he hadn`t of died at aged 27. I think cream only were making albums for 2 years or sumthing when they broke up.
