I was just wondering if anyone else has played this song. I think it might possibly be one of the most amusing songs to play. It`s not overly challenging, but it`s really fun. I first played it when I was 12, and I still love to play it 4 years later.

Isn`t that one-handed? From the looks of it, I`d say it`s right hand.

No, it`s for both right and left. I thought that too when I first looked at it. But trust me, when you play it, you need both hands.

My 12 year old son is learning to play it now. I think it is challenging for him because of the technical skills involved in playing a piece at that quick tempo. What type of lessons did you have?

Hi, does anyone know where I can listen to Solfeggietto on the internet? I`m playing it for a solo contest, and I was wondering if I was playing it right. If you have any information e-mail me at RiderFan90@netscape.com

Thank You

If I were you, I would come up with my own interpretation before listening to someone else`s. Remember Glenn? He was WEIRD, but people liked him. So maybe if this is a little competition, where you only win little things, then take a shot at being WEIRD. There`s a chance that the judges will hate you because you`re "playing it all wrong," but there`s an even BIGGER chance that they`ll LOVE YOUR INTERPRETATION AND THEY LOVE YOU!

you`d prolly ahve to download it...midi sites like those play a slower version, the real one goes much faster and sounds better on a pianoforte. i played this when i was 9 and it was a very fun piece to play...crossing the hands is one of the fun parts

you can play some of this song just right handed, but there are parts where you have to overlap so its very hard for the whole thing to be one handed

I remember this old piece- played it when I was about 7 years old- The crossing hands is really fun- I also liked the octaves in the some of the measures (in the left hand). They make a nice sound.

The piece Solfeggietto is - I agree with many others - really fun 2 play! And it is challenging. It took me - a 10 year old - about 4 weeks to learn! I especially love these kind of pieces.

sheetmusicarchive.net or music-scores.com is where you can find a lot of songs.

I`m 13 and it took me apprtoximately 3 days to learn. It was really easy and now i can play it about 5 times faster then it`s "supposed" to be played. I think it`s a fun and simple piece, but sounds complicated when you play it as fast as me.
