My piano teaher taught me this song about four years ago. I still love playing it and I love how it sounds so complicated but really is simple.

For some reason this melody crossed my mind tonight and I was looking for the music. I learned to play this some 50 years ago!! It was one of my favorites as a young girl (and as an old girl). Keep up the practice, kids, that`s how you get to Carnegie Hall!

Actually it`s the measures starting from 13 that I`m trying to play but I can`t quite get it right, does anyone know any tips that can be spared to help me ???

I`ve been playing this song for about 5-7 years and I love it. It is simple to learn, but hard to play correctly (keeping notes even, dynamics, etc.) if taken at high speed. One good excersize for learning this piece is to play it stacato once you have the notes down. Try it sometime!

yes it is hard to play correctly. What ways do you think I can pratice playing correctly? Will a metronome work?
