Strings International Music Festival is pleased to announce to the public our upcoming piano and strings competition sponsored by Cunningham Piano Co. and AirTurn, which will take place on May 22 at Cunningham Piano. Students will be accompanied by Hugh Sung, Director of Instrumental Accompaniment and Student Recitals at The Curtis Institute of Music, and the first place winner will receive a SIMF scholarship, sweatshirt, and, compliments of AirTurn, a personalized performance video posted on the SIMF website. This competition is a wonderful way for you to be judged not just on your musical technique, but your creative expression as well.
Strings International Music Festival is also running a competition on its Facebook page which is open to the public and also concludes on May 22. Please visit http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=72040456707 for details.
